Trendy workouts: from yoga and pilates to boxing and even to ballet, celebrities are doing whatever it takes these days to stay in shape. Celebrities are in the spotlight 24/7 and are always looking for new ways to work out, as opposed to just the regular cardio. You don't need to have a personal trainer. These trends can easily be incorporated into your own workout routine and could help you get out of your cardio rut.

Yoga is wonderful for you physically (as well as mentally). Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Natalie Morales herself swear by yoga. It is a wonderful stress-reducer, and does wonders for concentration and inner peace. The fear some people have about yoga is that it will not be as rigorous a workout and it won't burn any calories. But yoga is actually terrific for burning calories, not to mention increasing your flexibility and posture.

Pilates has swept the celebrity workout world by storm. Kim Cattrall swears by it. Pilates burns about 250 calories an hour. Pilates helps to shape your body, and the main focus is on the abdominals. It is a great strengthener, and can also help with rehabilitating from injuries.

Ballet has, of course, been around for centuries, but it is only recently that gyms are offering ballet classes, and certain celebrities (like Kelly Ripa) speak openly about how much ballet has helped them. These are tough classes. In one ballet class you can burn 350 calories. Even professional football players are encouraged to take ballet to help with balance and flexibility. Ballet produces lean legs and great posture.

Boxing is great for letting off steam, but it also gives a fantastic cardio workout. Sienna Miller and Lindsay Lohan are both boxing advocates. Boxing is obviously wonderful for upper body toning and strengthening, and you can burn 450 calories an hour. Boxing is also a wonderful cardio workout.

Which celebrity workout is right for you?
